Aims, contents and method of the course

L’attrattivà ininterrotta di Dante Alighieri si mostra anche nella sua presenza nel giallo moderno. In base a testi esemplari analizzeremo la figura di Dante come investigatore, ma anche l’Inferno dantesco come fonte d’ispirazione e modello per i schemi punitivi nel romanzo poliziesco contemporaneo. Si studierà le forme e le funzioni del giallo, le sue strutture narrative e stilistiche, l’aspetto economico ecc.
A partire della commedia “La Mandragola” di Machiavello seguiremo lo sviluppo del teatro rinascimentale in Italia.

Assessment and permitted materials

Beherrschen des wissenschaftlichen Arbeitens und der literaturwissenschaftlichen Terminologie; Mitarbeit (15%), Zwischentest (15%), Referat (15%), Seminararbeit (55%).
Nicht mehr als zwei begründete Fehlstunden.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Kontinuierliche, aktive Mitarbeit und Beteiligung an der Diskussion; Referat zu einem der Themenkomplexe , Thesenblatt/Handout eine Woche davor; Zwischentest (über die Kenntnis der Pflichtlektüre); schriftliche Ausarbeitung des Referats (15-20 Seiten, BA-Arbeit ca. 40 Seiten.)

Eine ausführliche Bibliographie wird am Beginn des Semesters zur Verfügung gestellt; in der Institutsbibliothek ist bereits ein Handapparat vorhanden. Es wird empfohlen, die Lektüre möglichst schon vor Beginn der LV zu beginnen.
