Aims, contents and method of the course

Proseminar in angewandter Ökonomie für fortgeschrittene Studierende (zweites und drittes Jahr BA).

Behandelte Themen:

- Klassische Wohlfahrtsökonomie (Erstes und zweites Wohlfahrtstheorem, Marktversagen, Theorie des Zweitbesten)

- Umweltpolitik: Ziele (Effizienz, Räumliche und intertemporale Überlegungen, Schadensfunktionen)

- Umweltpolitik: Instrumente (Command-and-Control, Coase-ähnliche Ansätze, marktbasierte Instrumente)

- Kosten-Nutzen-Analyse

- Bewertung von Umweltleistungen

- Umweltpolitik unter unvollständiger Information

- Internationale Umweltprobleme (Internationale Zusammenarbeit aus spieltheoretischer Perspektive, Klimawandel, Internationaler Handel & Umwelt)
