Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung
1. To extend and deepen knowledge and understanding of selected topics in developmental psychology, particularly in adolescence and emerging adulthood.2. To enhance insights into the ways of research of the selected topics.3. To improve the techniques of oral and written presentations of integration of the literature studied, as well as to reflect and develop a critical view on study reports.4. To actively participate in constructive group discussions.Selected topics in the development of individuation and identity over adolescence and emerging adulthood, including the correlates and developmental outcomes.Oral presentations (posters, seminar papers), short written reports, discussions, group work (e.g., creation of posters in small groups with cross-validations, role play).
Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel
Individual (paired) presentations of seminar papers, short written reports (seminar paper, individually selected paper, and reflection on an individually selected presentation or discussion), group work (discussions in the class and in small groups).
Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab
1. Seminar paper (referat; individual or pair): handout, slides, 1-2 pp. written report (20%), and oral presentation (20%).2. Individually selected empirical paper on the topic of the SE course: brief written summary report (1-2 pp.) (20%).3. Reflection on a selected topic presented in the SE: brief written report (1-2 pp., including references) (20%).4. Presence in the SE (1 absence tolerated), active engagement in class discussions, group work (discussions, posters, role play).
Prüfungsstoff
