This is a tentative schedule given according to topics and corresponding textbooks' chapters. I will determine the pace of class based on the overall student feedback and participation.

Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel

By the nature of this course, personal attendance is required. The grade will consist of four parts:
Final Exam (45%)
This is a closed book exam. Students are not allowed to use textbooks or notes or anything else besides a pocket calculator.
Midterm Exam (30%)
This is a closed book exam. Students are not allowed to use textbooks or notes or anything else besides a pocket calculator.
Exercises (10%)
Class Participation (10%)
Presence (5%)

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab

The aim of the course is to introduce the students with the basic concepts of Corporate Finance. We will study: equity and debt finance, how to value different types of bonds, the capital structure and dividend policies.

Prüfungsstoff

The whole material of the course will be examined.
