Ziele, Inhalte und Methode der Lehrveranstaltung

Theme: The Book of Job

Content: Exegetical research on selected texts from the book of Job. (Selection of texts is open; requests from students are welcome.)

Objectives: Increase knowledge of the major content, themes, and exegetical issues in the book of Job. Develop greater proficiency in exegetical work in an English-speaking environment.

Method: Short lectures by students, exegetical tasks, and discussions.

Art der Leistungskontrolle und erlaubte Hilfsmittel

Class participation (40%); Short exegetical presentation on a Job text (40%); Bibliography Assignment (20%).

Mindestanforderungen und Beurteilungsmaßstab

English proficiency. Regular attendance (no more than two absences), active participation.
